About the Kiwi Landing Pad
Kiwi Landing Pad (KLP) was established in 2011 to help selected high growth New Zealand technology companies establish and grow their business in the USA by offering a soft landing point into the US market, where they can hit the ground running and be plugged into the community from day one.
Supported by prominent New Zealand technology investors, New Zealand Trade and Enterprise and corporate sponsors, Kiwi Landing Pad offers New Zealand technology companies residence at their office in San Francisco. Tenants gain access to a wealth of experience and are able to create invaluable networks in the US technology, business and investment community.

About the Sales and Marketing Jam
Our Sales and Marketing Jam is the Second in a series of programmes that KLP intends to bring together in New Zealand to share experience and knowledge from credible people who can speak from having experienced it all first hand.
We don’t want to create another “workshop” or “speaker series”. Kiwi’s seem to love coming to these types of events usually for a day or half day. Ironically the challenge with these formats (in our opinion) is it goes too deep and leaves much to be translated in terms of the individual situations of each attendee versus the approach / focus of the content being delivered.
With the Jam series we want to be far more interactive and punchy but ensure we have credibility and deliver a core message. Our core objective of this first round is to leave people thinking ideally on one of two axes around the content and messages we share:
We want to share with attendees some of the more regularly repeated mistakes that entrepreneurs are making in the preparation for and execution of their business development plans. We don’t have the time or specific details of the attendees and where they are at to go deep – the intention is to head them towards a more curated path of self discovery / follow up.

- Ok I’m on the right track and have some more tips
- S*** – I hadn’t thought of that or I’m doing what I shouldn’t be doing.
